Life, Work, Passions
Psychic gifts came to me from an early age. It was my father who helped me to understand my abilities and from the age of twelve I started to embrace my gifts. I began healing when in my teenage years; I felt like a free spirit and I still do!
Throughout my life I have been inspired by Greek philosophy. My father often talked about the philosophy and knowledge that had been lost since the Greek and Roman era. It was these conversations that first sparked my interest.
Being a bit of a non-conformist has led me to many interesting and sometimes turbulent periods in my life. Yet my love of Greek Philosophy, comparative religion, intuitive arts and Buddhism, have served me well on my journey and still do.
My Son, Daughter and six gorgeous grandchildren and two great-grandchildren bring me much joy. They call me crazy, which doesn’t bother me at all. I have never wanted to lead a normal life and I love them all very much.
Touching the lives of others makes it all worthwhile
In the late 1980’s, at the Arthur Findlay College, Essex, under the tutelage of Mavis Pittilla, I became a qualified medium and speaker. I’m ever grateful for all that she taught me.
It was under the wing of the late, great Gordon Higginson, that I trained as a tutor. I was privileged to work at the Arthur Findlay College, of which Gordon was Principle. He was also the president of the SNU and was one of the greatest platform and physical mediums of the twentieth century. I will always be thankful for his mentorship and friendship.
The international psychic artist, Coral Polge, who often worked with Gordon Higginson, recommended me to work at the Spiritualist Association of Great Britain. It was an honour because I took over from the indomitable Ivy Northage. I ran an advanced class for 3 years until I left to live and work abroad. Since 1990 I’ve worked all over the UK and abroad, demonstrating, running, classes, workshops and lecturing.
You too can change your life
From the year 2000 I lived on three different islands for 7 years. The first island was, La Gomera, a small but stunning sub-tropical island in the Canaries. I spent 22 months writing lots of poetry and making copious notes for my first book, ‘When the Spirit Moves You’.
Life changed again when I moved to Malta. I lived there for 15 months with fantastic views of Mellieha Bay and Malta’s tiny sister island, Gozo. This gave me inspiration for my writing and spiritual work. I was always drawn to Gozo and the diverse people who lived there. I ended up living on this magical island for 4 years, until 2008. On the 31st December 2015 I returned to live on Gozo once again. I love this island!
